So finally, the HTC Desire is officially launching in the U.S via US Cellular carrier network. You can now walk into store and take it for $199.95, after a $70 mail-in rebate and a new 2 year contract.

This version of HTC Desire has a Super LCD display, not 3.7-inch AMOLED display anymore. It also has a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, a 5-megapixel auto focus camera with LED flash, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Android 2.1.
